The brain continues to develop from early neonatal stages up to, and through, an individual’s mid-20s. Dr. Fortuchang discusses neurological development from conception to adolescence, as well as the impact of maternal substance use on the fetus, childhood dysregulation, parental factors, social and relational influences, hormonal changes, and adolescent substance use and abuse.
